Replicated stores 101

Personal storefronts, attribution, pricing control and what makes them convert.

What a replicated store is

A replicated store is the company catalog presented under an individual distributor's identity: their name, photo, message and referral code, on a URL they can share. Orders placed there are attributed to them for commissions and customer ownership.

Attribution

Attribution happens by URL (members.yourbrand.com/u/priya), by referral code at checkout, or by cookie for visitors who arrive via a shared link and buy later. Set the cookie window (30 days is typical) and the precedence when signals conflict.

Company-controlled pricing

Distributors cannot change prices or descriptions. This protects compliance, brand and margin. They can share company-issued coupons and personalize their profile block.

What converts

  • A real photo and a short personal note
  • Fast mobile checkout with local payment methods
  • Bundles and a visible autoship option
  • Clear shipping and refund policy
  • Customer accounts so repeat buyers return to the same distributor

Customer accounts

Customers who buy from a replicated store get a customer account linked to that distributor. Their future orders, including autoship, keep paying that distributor, which is the foundation of retail residual income.
